Bat Sheva's husband, Ohad Yahlomi, went to guard his family with his personal weapon outside the unlocked safe room, in their home in Nir Oz.
Terrorists manage to get into the house, wound Ohad and open the door of the safe room. The terrorists ordered Bat Sheva and her three children to follow them. She tries to stall by asking the children to scream so that someone will hear and come to rescue them.
But after they threatened to shoot at them, the family leaves the safe room and Bat Sheva places the baby on her wounded husband, maybe that way she will save her, but the terrorist returned the baby to Bat Sheva. The terrorists put Batsheva and Yael on one motorcycle and Eitan with the baby and Ayala on another. Just before they start driving, the baby screams and the terrorist transfers her to Batsheva's arms.
A few meters from the fence, two IDF tanks unexpectedly arrived at speed. The motorcycle the girls were sitting on slips and falls. One of the terrorists tries to grab them and drag them with him, but Bat Sheva takes advantage of the commotion and runs with the two girls, trying to wave with all her strength at the tanks, but they don't notice her. She decides to escape with the girls towards the fields, barefoot and in pajamas. When they got tired they laid down on the ground and pretended to be dead.
Even there two terrorists found them and tried to force them to come with them to Gaza. Batsheva recognized that they were not armed and managed to escape once again. They hide in the open fields. From time to time, terrorist groups emerge and they manage to hide each time. Finally Bat Sheva takes them to the northern part of the kibbutz where they come across a bus that brought soldiers to fight and they manage to escape with it to the north.
Ohad disappeared from the house. They last saw Eitan, 12 years old, on the motorcycle near the fence.
We hope and pray for their safe return.
